Vitalik believes that a decentralized renaissance is coming

Vitalik published a document on the X platform stating that the vision of Web3 in 2014 is to establish a permissionless decentralized application ecosystem. Although this vision has been obscured by various "meta" and "narratives", its core technology is becoming increasingly powerful.
Ethereum has now implemented PoS and is expanding, and ZK-EVM and PeerDAS are effectively realizing the "sharding" vision. The data layer protocol Whisper has evolved into Waku and powers applications like Status. IPFS excels at decentralized file retrieval.
Vitalik believes that all the prerequisites for the original vision of Web3 are now in place and it is time to move towards decentralization. He cited Fileverse, an application that leverages Ethereum and Gnosis Chain to handle names and accounts, as an example of how to do it right. He concluded by stating that a decentralized renaissance is coming.
