U.S. lawmakers investigate Trump-related encryption project WLFI

On February 5, according to BlockBeats, a Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives launched an investigation into Trump-related encryption project World Liberty Financial (WLFI). It was previously reported that the project received $500 million in investment from entities related to members of the UAE royal family.
U.S. House of Representatives member Ro Khanna sent a letter to WLFI co-founder Zach Witkoff requesting details and relevant documents. The letter cited a Wall Street Journal report that Aryam Investment 1 acquired a 49% stake in WLFI.
