Bitcoin hovers below $64,000, with U.S. CPI data in line with expectations but with limited boost
On Thursday, Bitcoin remained below $64,000 as investors assessed the latest U.S. inflation data. The data was in line with market expectations and eased market concerns about the Federal Reserve's recent interest rate hikes, but failed to provide enough new impetus for the cryptocurrency's rebound.
As of 3:09 a.m. Eastern Time (15:09 Beijing time), Bitcoin, the world's largest cryptocurrency by market value, rose slightly by 0.1% to $63,866.2.
Bitcoin's recent price trend has basically remained within the range of $63,000 to $65,000, and has never been able to effectively break through the key resistance level of $65,000, showing a clear lack of upward momentum.
