Bitcoin stabilizes near $80,000, market focuses on Wash speech

Bitcoin prices rose slightly on Friday, hovering near recent highs. Investors were generally cautious as the market closely awaited a key speech from Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh later in the day.

As of 2:12 a.m. ET (14:12 Beijing time), Bitcoin, the world's largest cryptocurrency, rose 1.3% to $79,882.3, still close to the three-month high of more than $81,000 hit earlier this week.
