Bitcoin breaks through $85,000, Strategy once again increases its holdings

Bitcoin rose sharply on Tuesday, and Strategy, the top corporate currency holder, disclosed this week that it had once again bought cryptocurrencies, further promoting the recent gains.

The world’s largest cryptocurrency has continued its strong rally over the past week. Although the failure of the Clarity Act, the key U.S. crypto regulatory bill, disappointed the market, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) have successively launched their respective crypto regulatory frameworks, offsetting the negative sentiment to a certain extent.

At the same time, both oil prices and U.S. bond yields have fallen, which has also led to a recovery in overall risk appetite in the crypto market.

Bitcoin rose 4.9% to $85,561.6 at 1:52 a.m. ET (13:52 Beijing time). The cryptocurrency hit a nearly eight-month high on Monday.
