Bitcoin fell back to $82,000, as a sell-off in AI stocks and rising oil prices suppressed risk sentiment
On Thursday, Bitcoin basically erased its short-lived rebound overnight and closed almost flat. A massive sell-off in artificial intelligence stocks, coupled with rising oil prices, has weighed on risk assets.
Bitcoin, the world's largest cryptocurrency, was quoted at $82,785.8 at 2:13 a.m. Eastern Time (14:13 Beijing time), after rebounding to nearly $85,000 overnight.
In the past month, Bitcoin has been fluctuating within a narrow range, and the gains in the third quarter were basically exhausted in October.
Other cryptocurrency prices were similarly weak, retreating again after rebounding overnight.
